I visited Camp Bob for the first time two years before I ever knew I would one day be a part of this family. My older brother was a counselor here from 2023-2024, and would always come back home and share his love for Camp Bob with us. In 2025, I joined the team as a counselor for the Youngest Girls cabin, and I experienced the same love for camp as he did.

There are truly no words to describe how meaningful that week away in the mountains of North Carolina is. Camp Bob is my favorite week of the year, and I’m always so excited to return each year. I’ve been lucky enough to work here alongside one of my closest friends, and whenever we talk, the magic of camp always comes up. One of the greatest joys is seeing how the campers open up throughout the week, explore new activities, and try everything. Especially now that I’ve been at camp for two years, I’ve seen the same kids come back and they are filled with so much confidence and excitement for activities like canoeing or swimming that once scared them.

I can’t wait for another wonderful week at camp, it can’t come soon enough!
